If you term the movie Jai Veeru a “bundle” that won’t be wrong I think. Though the movie has all the MASALAS of a formula film such romance, revenge, betrayal, fighting, crime, bikini babes etc, but it fails to lift.
I think, why a director steals the plot from a Hollywood movie, when we have a lot of stories to say and I’m sure audiences would love them.
The movie Jai Veeru is the story of a cop Jai(Fardeen Khan) who wants to reach mafia head Tejpal (Arbaaz Khan) through Veeru(Kunal). But Veeru who is a big specialist in stealing cars doesn’t know the fact. His life gets even more interesting when he chances upon Jai who is an expert mechanic and has a way to get into any sort of car.
The story moves on. Both Jai and Veeru form a team and in no time they become best buddies and also ace crime partners. There are also the beautiful girls (Dia and Anjana) who are the romantic interests of both Jai and Veeru.
Presentation of the movie is quite simple and it could have done better but lack of a good story and dialogues leave it in lurch and it grows slowly. The narrative could have been better. Music is melodious in the movie.
